It is that time of the year again when men around the world sharpen their razors and for the whole month of November, carefully sculpt and cultivate the hair that adorns their upper lips into works of art. For some it is a sign of masculinity, a reminder of a bygone era when men were tough, when our heroes unashamedly smoked cigarettes on television and cowboys didn’t dare cry. For some, due to sparse facial hair, being ginger, or in some of our cases both, donning a moustache also serves as being an alternative form of contraception or a way of beating off any unwanted female attention.
But one thing that these men all stand united for – is the money that’s raised that goes to a one helluva good cause in helping raise awareness around men’s health and encouraging men to take action in preventative measures.
So for the month of Movember Ue Coffee Roasters will be contributing £1 per case of coffee which will go straight back to the charity. In addition to this we will also be donating 25p per drink sold in our new roasetry café which will be opening at the end of October well in time for Movember.
