Produced by family-run coffee company Rwamatamu, this lot comes from their Mbare washing station in Rwanda’s Southern Province.Founded in 2015 by Rutaganda Gaston and Mukantwaza Laeticia, Rwamatamu combines quality-focused coffee production with a strong commitment to community. Alongside working closely with local farmers, the team supports projects including a Women’s Cooperative in Nyamasheke, helping create more stable, long-term income opportunities through coffee. This coffee is naturally processed, with the cherries dried slowly on raised beds for 26 to 33 days. During that time, they are turned and sorted by hand to ensure even drying and clean flavour development. The result is a coffee with bright fruit notes, rounded sweetness and plenty of character in the cup.
